Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake The Situation!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Liston!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by The Situation.
The Situation in side control, throwing shots but Liston defends.
Liston should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The Situation stands up and beckons Liston to his feet.
Liston misses with a body shot.
Liston scores with a body shot.
Liston scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The Situation feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Liston is looking to stand up but The Situation isn't so interested in that idea.

The Situation stands and steps away. Liston gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
The Situation walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
A lazy left from Liston finds it's target.
Liston dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

The Situation fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
The Situation is breathing heavily.
The Situation shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Liston sprawls well. Liston wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. The Situation gets slowly back to his feet.
Liston digs a good hook to The Situation's body.
Liston closes the distance and lands a one-two.
The Situation takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
George Liston is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Liston wants to clinch up but The Situation keeps it at a distance.
Liston is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down The Situation rather than just go for the knockout.
The Situation shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Liston as he jumps to the side.

Liston scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Liston connects with a body shot that sends The Situation's belly button to the back.
Liston pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces The Situation back to the cage. Liston follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The Situation takes a jab right on the kisser.
The Situation shoots in but Liston avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Liston lands a really nice looking cross but The Situation seems unphased.
Liston scores with a shot to the body.
The Situation takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Liston dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Liston lands with a right hand.
Liston tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. The Situation manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The Situation moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Liston stuffs the takedown.
Liston fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Liston dips to his left and cracks The Situation with an uppercut!
Liston tries to clinch but The Situation moves out of range.
Liston throws a one two combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Liston feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits The Situations jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

The Situation fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Liston avoids it really well and circles away.
Liston thuds his right hand into The Situation's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from The Situation is defended easily by Liston.
Liston thuds a left hand into The Situation's body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Liston smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Jake The Situation seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Liston is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

George Liston dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


The Situation moves out of range of the body kick from Liston.
Liston closes the distance and lands a one-two.


It looks like Jake The Situation has been cut.
The Situation misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
The Situation shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Liston tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. The Situation manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The Situation on the wrong end of a nice hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Liston cracks a nice hook into The Situation's ribs.
The Situation takes one to the chin there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The Situation takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Liston tries to close the distance and clinch up but The Situation swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Liston lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Liston.
The Situation looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Liston lands with a shot to the body.
Liston tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The Situation has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Liston throws a head kick that misses.
George Liston seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The Situation keeps the fight on the outside.
Liston tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but The Situation paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Liston thuds a left hand into The Situation's body.

Liston scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. The Situation doesn't seem bothered though.

Liston wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Liston lunges at The Situation with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by The Situation's hand.
The Situation keeps the fight on the outside.
Liston tries to clinch but The Situation is having none of it.
Liston misses with a low kick.
The Situation shoots for a takedown but Liston saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake The Situation. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The Situation takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Liston scores with a nice strike.
Liston throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck The Situation on the side of the head.
The Situation shoots in but Liston avoids the takedown attempt easily.

The Situation keeps control of Liston as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Jake The Situation is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The Situation tries to keep at a distance but Liston has taken the fight into the clinch.
Liston stops a takedown attempt from The Situation.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Liston tries to break the clinch but The Situation is controlling the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Liston wants to break free but The Situation has control.
Liston tries to circle away but The Situation has him pinned against the cage.

George Liston showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The Situation fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Liston lands a body shot.
The Situation drops his hands momentarily and Liston takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Liston lands a left and a right that send The Situation crashing to the mat, dazed. Liston thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The Situation throws a wild hook but Liston just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! The Situation gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Liston raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
