Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eron Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Duhrover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duhrover misses with a straight right.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Duhrover enables Silva to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Duhrover manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Duhrover can do anything to dispel that myth.

Silva is looking to take a break and control but Duhrover is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

You can see the frustration on Duhrover's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Duhrover really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Duhrover to the mat! Duhrover manages to get full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Silva gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Silva is looking to clinch but Duhrover is avoiding it.

and Silva counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Silva.
Silva is in close to Duhrover's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Silva in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Duhrover has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Duhrover fails with the takedown.
Duhrover dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Duhrover's head and hops out.
Silva moves in looking to clinch but Duhrover pushes him off.

Duhrover is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Silva gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Eron Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Duhrover.
Silva is looking to take this one to the mat.
Silva has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Duhrover uses from the top position.

Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Duhrover swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Duhrover manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A looping hook to the body misses from Duhrover. Silva does a little dance to reset his feet.

Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Duhrover tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Duhrover manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Duhrover sprawls well. Duhrover wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.

Duhrover has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Silva is working away from the top position though.
Eron Silva overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Duhrover tries to roll over but Silva keeps him under control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Duhrover wants to control but Silva is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Duhrover defend it? Silva steps over the head and cranks it - Duhrover is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Silva!
