Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ding Dang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gigi Ceausu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ding Dang has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ding Dang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gigi Ceausu!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dang tries to move into range but Ceausu moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ceausu lands with a shot to the body.
Ceausu lands with a nice body punch.
Ceausu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dang was well out of range. Poor timing from Ceausu.
Ceausu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dang as he jumps to the side.
Dang throws a solid leg kick but Ceausu takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Dang.
Dang tries to clinch but Ceausu moves out of range.

Ceausu closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dang did well to prevent Ceausu getting side control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Ceausu shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dang is trying to defend but Ceausu finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee asks Ceausu politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ceausu prefers to stall for the moment though.

A lull in the action here as Ceausu stalls from top position.
Ceausu misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dang is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Dang knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ceausu on the ground.

Ceausu is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Dang is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Dang flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Ceausu anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Dang and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Ceausu slips an arm under Dang chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Ceausu has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Ceausu is squeezing on Dang like an anaconda would it's prey. Dang fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
