Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Echart Tolle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gouki Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tolle's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ask Eckhart. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Echart Tolle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gouki Sakuraba!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakuraba with a jab.
Sakuraba throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Sakuraba keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sakuraba looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sakuraba lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tolle circles away quickly and effectively.
Tolle dives in and grabs Sakuraba's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sakuraba pushes down on Tolle's head and hops out.
Tolle avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nice jab there from Sakuraba.
Sakuraba sizes up Tolle with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Sakuraba throws a series of punches but Tolle avoids them all with ease.

Sakuraba scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Sakuraba moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Tolle closes the distance and clinches up with Sakuraba, looking for a takedown. Tolle pushes Sakuraba against the cage but Sakuraba circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Echart Tolle. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tolle shoots in but no luck this time.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sakuraba pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sakuraba throws a nice looking combination but Tolle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sakuraba moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Sakuraba connects with a body shot that sends Tolle's belly button to the back.
Sakuraba lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Tolle has a takedown stuffed.
Tolle walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Sakuraba throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Tolle shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tolle was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Sakuraba is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Poor strikes thrown by Tolle there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Tolle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Sakuraba is squirming around, avoiding Tolle's attempts to control the action.

Tolle is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Tolle extends the arm and Sakuraba is forced to tap!
