Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Death Machine Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Booey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Death Machine Cannon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Robert Booey!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannon tries to clinch but Booey is having none of it.
Booey fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Cannon drives through and clinches with Booey against the cage.
Cannon lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Booey backwards.
Booey is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cannon pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Cannon gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Booey.
Death Machine Cannon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Booey.
Cannon swings wildly with an uppercut but Booey uses good head movement to avoid it.
Booey drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cannon tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Cannon wants to stand and escape but instead Booey has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Booey is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Booey postures up in Cannon's guard and throws a big left but Cannon blocks it.

Cannon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Booey on the ground.

Booey is landing with some decent strikes but Cannon is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Booey might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

BOOM! Booey connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Booey cracks Cannon with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Cannon is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Booey darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Cannon keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Booey cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Booey tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Cannon is rocked!
Booey pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Booey prevents Cannon from getting the reversal.
Booey takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Booey lands a big shot there that rocks Cannon but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Oh Cannon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The referee warns Cannon that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Cannon takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Booey's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Booey!
