With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Thomas Kirshaw!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirshaw misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Birchmont.
Birchmont is looking to clinch but Kirshaw is avoiding it.
Kirshaw bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A shot to the liver by Kirshaw. Beautiful body shot.

A clash of legs there as Birchmont blocks the low kick.
Kirshaw closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Birchmont doesn't manage to clinch there - Kirshaw circles away.
Birchmont misses with an uppercut. Kirshaw saw that one coming.
Kirshaw takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Birchmont, as that shot connected.
Kirshaw cracks Birchmont with a good jab.
Birchmont throws a hook to the side of Kirshaw's head but Kirshaw sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kirshaw walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Birchmont is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Birchmont steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kirshaw.
Kirshaw swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Birchmont throws a big shot that misses.
Kirshaw misses with a wild body shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Birchmont drops Kirshaw with a big left hand and mounts him. Kirshaw is in big trouble!

Birchmont goes for an armbar but Kirshaw turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Kirshaw.

Kirshaw decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kirshaw lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Birchmont circles away quickly and effectively.
Donk. Birchmont catches Kirshaw right on the button with a cross.

Kirshaw throws a nice looking combination but Birchmont bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
