Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luis Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Maschanski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is National Anthem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Luis Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Oleg Maschanski! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Maschanski.
Maschanski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Diaz tries to avoid it but Maschanski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Diaz to the ground. Diaz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Diaz takes a body punch but keeps moving. Diaz shoots in and drives through. Maschanski sprawls well. Maschanski gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Diaz wants to control from the top but Maschanski keeps moving. Maschanski pulls Diaz in close to prevent any damage. Maschanski looking for a sweep. Not yet Maschanski, not yet. Maschanski looking to control.
Diaz wants to control from the top but Maschanski keeps moving. Diaz has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Maschanski is proving hard to escape from. Diaz gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maschanski catches Diaz with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Maschanski stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Diaz scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Maschanski manages to get to full guard.
Diaz wants to pass the guard but Maschanski is keeping the position. Diaz is breathing heavily. Maschanski wants to stand up but Diaz is controlling him. Diaz tries to free his leg and advance position but Maschanski is retaining full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Maschanski can do anything to dispel that myth. Maschanski wants to stand and escape but Diaz is having none of it. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Maschanski trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz trying to control but Maschanski is working from the bottom. Maschanski keeping full guard, as Diaz tries to pass.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Diaz scores a takedown into full mount! Maschanski tries to get back to half guard but can't. Maschanski tries to lock up and control but Diaz gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Maschanski is trying to stand. Maschanski wants to control but Diaz is having none of it. Maschanski is trying desperately to improve position.

Maschanski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diaz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Maschanski is really stuck here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Maschanski looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Maschanski wants to control his opponent's hands but Diaz gets his hands free. Maschanski breaks Diaz's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Maschanski lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Maschanski works over Diaz with some ground and pound from guard. Maschanski tries to free his leg and advance position but Diaz is retaining full guard. Maschanski is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Maschanski preventing the sweep. Diaz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Maschanski wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving. Maschanski is looking to stand up but Diaz won't let him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Luis Diaz will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A head kick misses from Maschanski. Diaz throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Diaz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Maschanski sprawls well initially but Diaz persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Maschanski trying to get back to full guard but Diaz takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Maschanski keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Maschanski tries to control Diaz's body but Diaz pushes him off. Maschanski squirms to his side and now Diaz has his back! Diaz has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Maschanski. Maschanski tries to escape the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Diaz gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Diaz gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Diaz apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Diaz fails in his attempt to clinch. Diaz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Maschanski counters with a takedown into side control. Maschanski happy to just control the position for now. Diaz tries to get back to half guard but can't. Maschanski advances nicely into full mount. Diaz manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Diaz looking for a guillotine here but Maschanski defends easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Diaz working a defensive guard here.
Maschanski prevents Diaz from getting back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Maschanski trying to control the position from guard on top but Diaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Diaz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Maschanski is one step ahead there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luis Diaz dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Diaz goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Diaz cracks Maschanski with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Maschanski stalks Diaz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Diaz's face. Diaz staggers backwards, shaken. Maschanski throws a left that rocks Diaz and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Maschanski dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Diaz regain composure!

It looks like Luis Diaz has been cut. Maschanski scoring with punches and elbows. Oh Diaz is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Maschanski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Diaz keeps working. Diaz seems to have got his legs back now. Maschanski tries to stand but Diaz is controlling his head. Diaz sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Diaz wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maschanski is taking a breather. Diaz says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Diaz is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Maschanski's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Maschanski's back! Diaz gets his hands free as Maschanski looks to control. Maschanski is trying to break free.
Luis Diaz overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Maschanski wants to control his opponent's hands but Diaz gets his hands free. Will Diaz go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Maschanski is trying to roll into a better position but Diaz has get a rear naked choke and Maschanski is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
