The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Grant. Those never looked like landing.
Grant shoots in but no luck this time.
Ballswick lands a glancing blow to the side of Grant's head.

Ballswick is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Grant tries to kick Ballswick off but Ballswick keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ballswick creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Ballswick has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Grant is trying to keep an underhook but Ballswick manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Ballswick has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Grant doesn't defend quickly enough and Ballswick has managed to lock this one up! Can Grant escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ballswick on a fantastic submission victory.
