Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Urie Sergeyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie with a poor takedown
and Sergeyev counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sergeyev is working for a kimura but Gracie is defending it quite comfortably.
Gracie is trying to control but can't.
Sergeyev is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Sergeyev decides to stand and escape the position.
Gracie has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sergeyev finds it's way round the side to connect with Gracie's head.

Sergeyev changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gracie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Sergeyev has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sergeyev feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Sergeyev stands and steps away. Gracie gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
