Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Merme Mafra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joon Joon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Merme Mafra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joon Joon! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mafra decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Mafra looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Joon wants to get back to full guard. Joon is positioning himself well to prevent Mafra advancing to mount. Joon is trying to stand up here but Mafra is controlling him well. Mafra passes the guard and advances to mount! Mafra is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Joon has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Joon is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mafra takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Mafra has hold of Joon's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Joon manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Mafra swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Joon is now in Mafra's guard. A big mistake from Mafra there, giving up the dominant position! Mafra has an active guard here but Joon has managed to pass into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Mafra wants to control but Joon is having none of it. Joon content just to control the position here. Mafra is working to get back to half guard.
Joon get's back to his feet. Joon misses with a kick to the body.
Joon shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mafra is pressing down on Joon's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Mafra could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Mafra is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Mafra looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Joon postures up.
Mafra escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Joon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Merme Mafra will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Joon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mafra's guard. Joon stands up from Mafra's guard - Joon perhaps looking for a knockout. Joon Joon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Joon drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Joon cracks Mafra with a big right hand but Mafra just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mafra tries to improve position but can't. You can see the frustration on Mafra's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Joon tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Mafra is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Mafra tries to roll over but Joon keeps him under control. Joon not doing much here.
Mafra might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mafra is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Joon pulls his head out easily. Joon stalling. Mafra is looking to improve his position.
Mafra is looking to control Joon's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mafra avoid being mounted?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mafra looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Joon working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Mafra looking for submissions off his back. Mafra is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Joon pulls his head out easily. Joon is working for a submission of some sort.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Joon content to control rather than advance. Mafra blocking the ground and pound attempt from Joon. Joon content to control rather than advance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joon Joon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Joon has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mafra uses from the top position. Joon wants to stand and escape but Mafra is having none of it. Mafra wants to control from the top but Joon keeps moving. Joon working a defensive guard here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Joon trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Mafra drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mafra jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Joon controlling the position. Joon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mafra is one step ahead there. Mafra is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Joon Joon has got the better of the ground game so far. Mafra trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Joon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mafra gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mafra trying to control the position from guard on top but Joon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Joon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Joon is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mafra trying to control but Joon is working from the bottom. Joon pulls Mafra in close to his closed guard and prevents Mafra from doing any damage or advancing position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Joon closes the distance looking to clinch and Mafra counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Joon!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mafra goes for an armbar but Joon turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Joon. Mafra looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Joon has picked Mafra up and slammed him! Mafra can't keep hold of the triangle and Joon manages to pass to side control! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Mafra is looking to reverse the position. Joon remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mafra is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Joon is controlling him well. Mafra looking for a sweep but Joon has passed into full mount! Oh no! Mafra is looking to improve his position but Joon isn't that keen on the idea. Joon tries to control but Mafra wriggling away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Joon avoids the attempt from Mafra to control.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Merme Mafra. I think Mafra has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
