Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Bostick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Royale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Bostick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Royale!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bostick will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Randy Royale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bostick stuffs the takedown.
Royale misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Royale is trying desperately to land a takedown but Bostick is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Royale.

Bostick throws a nice looking combination but Royale bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Royale dives in and grabs Bostick's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bostick pushes down on Royale's head and hops out.

Royale has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Bostick.

Royale drops his hands momentarily and Bostick takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Bostick feints and then cracks Royale's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Royale down.
Bostick is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Royale can do to turn this around?

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Royale might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Bostick has got the better of the exchanges.

Randy Royale has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Royale cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
