Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fransuave Doobney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doobney comes to the cage accompanied by L_TIz# . Luke Reed has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fransuave Doobney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luke Reed!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Doobney dives in and scores a takedown into Reed's guard.
Reed wants to hit a switch here but Doobney passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Reed there!
Doobney tries to control but Reed wriggling away.
Reed holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Doobney tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Reed is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Doobney content just to control the position here.

Doobney stands up from mount. Strange move.
Reed tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Doobney paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Doobney rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Reed moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Reed has managed to clinch.

Doobney lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Doobney is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Reed tries to kick Doobney off but Doobney keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Doobney is taking a breather. Reed says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Fransuave Doobney just wasn't active enough.

Doobney closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Reed's guard.
Reed is looking to stand up but Doobney isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reed is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Doobney is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Reed throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Reed scores with a one two! Doobney had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Doobney shoots in looking for a takedown. Reed tries to sprawl out of it but Doobney keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reed manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Reed listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Doobney blocks a head kick by Reed.
A thudding body kick lands there by Reed!
Reed connects with a right hand. Doobney shakes it off.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters circle, before Reed throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Doobney's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Reed lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
