Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes into the arena with Deour from Shinedown blaring out of the sound system. Marley has chosen Bob Marley-One Love as his entrance music. Jeff Smith has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeff Smith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Marley! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marley circles away from the clinch attempt and Marley counters with a nice low kick that buckles Smith's knee momentarily. Marley throws a sloppy head kick and Smith moves out of range easily. Smith avoids the head kick by Marley.
Smith cracks Marley with an open hand slap. Smith really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Smith doesn't manage to clinch there - Marley circles away.
Smith misses with a takedown attempt - Marley sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Smith avoids the head kick by Marley.
Smith shoots in looking for a takedown. Marley tries to sprawl out of it but Smith keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Smith shoots in looking for a takedown but Marley manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Smith's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeff Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him. Good leg kick by Marley there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Marley scores with a head kick. Smith tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Marley paws at him with a jab and circles away. Smith wants to clinch. Smith takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Smith moves to clinch but Marley breaks away and Marley counters with a head kick that drops Smith to the mat! Smith scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Smith is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Smith shoots in for a double leg but Marley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. The fight moves into the clinch position. Marley with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Smith tries to land knees in the clinch but Marley avoids the damage to the body. The referee calls for Marley to work.
Marley is looking to take this one to the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Smith tries to clinch there but Marley circles away.
Smith goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Bob Marley has been cut. Marley scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Whack! Marley lands a heavy head kick that drops Smith. The ref tackles Marley to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Smith was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Bob Marley! Bob Marley managed to slip a mention for his sponsors, Unique Wear and Custom Design, into his post fight interview.
