PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Thaksin Yodsuwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gay Bomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bomb comes into a darkened arena with his song building. It's Raining Men kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

With a record of 10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gay Bomb!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomb moves out of range of the body kick.
Bomb needs to keep his hands up - Yodsuwan had a free shot at his head there.
A jab from Bomb does it's job there.

Yodsuwan lands a nice hook to Bomb's body. Bomb takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Good leg kick by Yodsuwan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Yodsuwan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bomb sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Yodsuwan tries to land a front kick but Bomb steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Bomb manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Yodsuwan on his heels. He'll look to pass Yodsuwan's guard now, I'm sure.

Yodsuwan has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close round but I would say that Thaksin Yodsuwan will probably get the nod.

Yodsuwan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bomb's guard.
Bomb has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Yodsuwan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bomb has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Yodsuwan has managed to get both his arms back between Bomb's legs - danger averted.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Yodsuwan throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Bomb tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Bomb changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yodsuwan tries to avoid it but Bomb manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yodsuwan to the ground. Yodsuwan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bomb throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Bomb is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bomb feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bomb is looking to get to half guard.

Yodsuwan feints and then cracks Bomb's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bomb down.

Yodsuwan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bomb circles away quickly and effectively.

Bomb closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bomb lands in his opponent's guard.

After the fight, Thaksin Yodsuwan was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
