Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kimo Lima! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alex Tank! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tank is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The fighters circling - Tank throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Lima shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Tank is trying to stand back up but Lima is controlling him
Tank is looking to get back to is feet but Lima passes into side control.
Lima looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Tank struggling a bit here. Lima in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Tank misses with an elbow from the bottom. Lima lands an elbow. Lima working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lima advances nicely into full mount. Lima working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lima postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tank looks a forlorn figure.
Tank is in all sorts of trouble here.
Lima breaks from Tank's wrist control and lands an elbow. A nice elbow there by Lima. Tank can't escape the position.
Lima fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Tank bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Tank wanted to stand there but Lima had control of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lima lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tank! Lima lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lima lands a big elbow. Tank can't escape the position.
Lima with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Lima is breathing heavily. Tank takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Tank wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lima is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Tank is forced to tap! Great finish!
