Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goss dives in and grabs Patrick's left leg, looking for a takedown. Patrick pushes down on Goss's head and hops out.
A head kick misses from Patrick.
Patrick is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Goss.
Goss fails with a takedown attempt.
Patrick is looking to slow Goss down with leg kicks.
Goss tries to clinch but Patrick moves out of range.
Goss avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Goss fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Patrick avoids it really well and circles away.

Claude Patrick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Patrick tries to clinch up but Goss circles away and keeps his distance.
A lazy left from Patrick finds it's target.
The fight stays on the outside here - Patrick looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Patrick gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Goss seems to have got his legs back now.
Goss jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Patrick walks away with a smile on his face. Goss gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Patrick lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Goss. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Patrick sizes up Goss with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Goss tries to move into range but Patrick moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Claude Patrick is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Goss rushes Patrick and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Goss is trying to break the clinch but Patrick is controlling him.
Patrick is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Patrick lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Goss circles away quickly and effectively.
Patrick throws a nice looking combination but Goss bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Patrick throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Goss walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Patrick lands with a kick to the temple. Goss shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Patrick throws a body punch but Goss moves out of range.
Goss fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Patrick throws the left hand but Goss avoids the punch easily.
Patrick is looking to clinch.
Goss throws a right hand that Patrick ducks under and follows up with a left that Patrick also avoids with ease.
Goss tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Patrick swivels and escapes.
Goss shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Patrick as he jumps to the side.

Patrick lands a head kick. Goss smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

and Goss counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Goss has Patrick pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Patrick manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Patrick connects with a good right hand that stumbles Goss. Goss circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Goss chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Patrick can pounce on him.

Patrick stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Patrick wants it to stay on the feet.

Goss takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Patrick with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Patrick works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Patrick has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Patrick cracks Goss with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Goss tries to close the distance and clinch but Patrick swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Patrick stalks Goss and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Goss's face. Goss staggers backwards, shaken.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Goss fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Patrick manages to avoid it.
Patrick lands a head kick!
Goss gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Patrick drops Goss with a naaaaasty hook - Goss is in real trouble here! Patrick dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
