The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Talenworths pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Talenworths scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Steward's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Talenworths wants to lay and pray for a moment but Steward keeps working.
Talenworths is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Steward is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Talenworths has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Talenworths throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Steward stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Steward throws a sloppy head kick and Talenworths moves out of range easily.

Steward thuds his right hand into Talenworths's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mertha Steward comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
