The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helmer fails with the takedown
and Magomedov counters with a leg kick.

Magomedov moves into the clinch.

Magomedov is pressed up against the cage. Helmer has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Magomedov down to the mat. Magomedov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stig Helmer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Magomedov throws a front kick that sends Helmer stumbling back into the cage.

Magomedov postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Helmer covers up, he's hurt! Magomedov keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Magomedov and the ref steps in to end the fight! Magomedov can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
