Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tomas Sigurdson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Poodah DaGangsta! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sigurdson shoots in but DaGangsta avoids the takedown attempt easily. DaGangsta lands a nice looking body kick. Sigurdson keeps the fight on the outside. DaGangsta will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
DaGangsta rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sigurdson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sigurdson shoots in looking for a takedown. DaGangsta tries to sprawl out of it but Sigurdson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. DaGangsta manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Sigurdson tries for a takedown but DaGangsta sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tomas Sigurdson. That's going to take a lot out of him. DaGangsta tries to clinch but Sigurdson is having none of it. DaGangsta tries to bum rush Sigurdson with a series of wild strikes but Sigurdson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. DaGangsta throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No luck for Sigurdson with that takedown attempt. Sigurdson circles away from the clinch attempt.
DaGangsta misses with a double jab.
DaGangsta motions for Sigurdson to come forward. DaGangsta throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. DaGangsta misses with a wild combination.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Sigurdson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. DaGangsta tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. DaGangsta rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sigurdson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Excellent takedown into side control there by Sigurdson. Sigurdson tries to advance to mount but can't.

Sigurdson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, DaGangsta has escaped the position, nice work there. Sigurdson really is a fat lump. Sigurdson is breathing heavily. Sigurdson wants to control but DaGangsta is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. DaGangsta manages to work his way to half guard, despite Sigurdson's best efforts. DaGangsta is looking for a sweep. Sigurdson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Sigurdson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Sigurdson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Sigurdson prevents DaGangsta from improving his position. Sigurdson drops an elbow to the side of DaGangsta's head. Sigurdson wants to work for an arm triangle but DaGangsta is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Sigurdson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but DaGangsta does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Sigurdson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
