Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dusty Dawn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Mayhem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dusty Dawn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Mayhem! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dawn displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mayhem. Dawn lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mayhem's sensitive parts. Dawn gets a clinch. Mayhem blocks an elbow strike from Dawn.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mayhem thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Mayhem postures up.

Dusty Dawn dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Dawn throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Mayhem shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Mayhem is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dawn doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mayhem. Mayhem passes the guard and advances to mount! Dawn regains half guard. Mayhem is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dawn is just riding it out for now. Mayhem eventually gives up the hold.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dawn regains full guard. Nicely done. Mayhem wants to control from the top but Dawn keeps moving. Dawn keeping full guard, as Mayhem tries to pass. Mayhem drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dawn looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dawn looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dawn! Dawn is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mayhem has escaped the position, nice work there.

Possibly, maybe, no Dawn has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Mayhem sneaks back into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dawn wants to stand up but Mayhem is controlling the position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dusty Dawn will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Dawn pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Dawn is struggling to control the position. Dawn trying to land knees to the body.
Dawn is defending well against a takedown attempt. Dawn is pushing Mayhem up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Mayhem blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Dawn misses with a knee to the head. Mayhem on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Dawn gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Mayhem keeping moving, preventing Dawn from controlling successfully. Dawn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dawn controlling from the top position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Dawn trying to control but Mayhem is working from the bottom.
Dusty Dawn has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Dawn looks to land a combination but Mayhem avoids it well.

Dawn is struggling to control the position. Dawn gets control of Mayhem's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dawn will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Mayhem thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Mayhem has gone for a leg lock! Dawn slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mayhem's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mayhem has a closed guard, preventing Dawn from standing up.

Dawn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mayhem swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mayhem working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dawn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dawn manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dawn trying to control but Mayhem is working from the bottom. Dawn is really struggling to control Mayhem but he's trying to hold on to the position. Dawn looking to sit in guard and control but Mayhem gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mayhem is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dawn is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dawn has escaped and now he's on top!
And that's the end of the fight! Dusty Dawn showed his dominance in that final round. Well Dawn has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
