Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sean Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Nwachukwu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Nwachukwu has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sean Adams's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Nwachukwu. That's going to slow Adams down.

Adams manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nwachukwu on his heels. He'll look to pass Nwachukwu's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Adams pushes down on Nwachukwu's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Nwachukwu wants to control but Adams is keeping busy.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Nwachukwu enables Adams to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nwachukwu manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Nwachukwu closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Adams's guard.

Nwachukwu must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Nwachukwu seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Let's hope that Nwachukwu has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
