Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mason Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabolous Fjodor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas looks to land a body kick but Fjodor moved away.
Fjodor shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Thomas misses with a head kick.

and Thomas counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Fjodor is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Thomas throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Thomas scores with a crisp jab that stopped Fjodor in his tracks.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Thomas throws a sloppy head kick and Fjodor moves out of range easily.
Thomas leaves Fjodor with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Mason Thomas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fabolous Fjodor.
Thomas wants to land a leg kick but Fjodor is out of range.

A telegraphed right hand from Thomas misses the target.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Fjodor is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

and Thomas counters with a three punch combo that has Fjodor backing up. Fjodor nods at Thomas to acknowledge the strikes.
Fjodor gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Thomas to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Thomas bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Thomas lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Fjodor closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Thomas throws an overhand right that lands on Fjodor's shoulder, as Fjodor tries to avoid the shot.

Fjodor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Thomas as he jumps to the side.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Thomas throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fjodor is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Thomas is trying to escape and Fjodor transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Thomas is forced to tap! Nice work there by Fjodor! Very nice indeed!
