The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts tries to sprawl but Leblanc drives through with a takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Leblanc thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Roberts's head.
Roberts wants to control but Leblanc is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Leblanc has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Roberts is proving hard to escape from.

Roberts seems to be working for a kimura but Leblanc defends the submission attempt.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Roberts decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Leblanc tries to clinch up but Roberts circles away and keeps his distance.

Leblanc shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Roberts sprawls well. Roberts wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Leblanc gets slowly back to his feet.

Roberts has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Leblanc should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Roberts has tightened it up now! Leblanc should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
