Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chernova clinches up with Sika and pushes him back against the cage.

Sika drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Chernova gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Sika is trying to trip Chernova. He has hold of a leg but Chernova is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Sika persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Chernova wants to improve his position but instead Sika has moved into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sika closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Sika decides to stand back up. Sika steps back and let's Chernova get back to his feet.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chernova can do anything to dispel that myth.
Saimoon Sika has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Sika darts in and clinches Chernova up against the cage.
Chernova's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sika creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Chernova's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Chernova drops to his knees and Sika pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Saimoon Sika!
