Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Fightmaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacques Hallow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hallow is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by We Will Rise. Max Fightmaster could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jacques Hallow's chin.

6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jacques Hallow! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fightmaster shoots and misses and Hallow counters with a straight right hand. Sloppy strikes from Hallow. Those never looked like landing. Fightmaster throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hallow tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fightmaster is in Hallow's guard. Fightmaster throws a big right hand that misses. Fightmaster trying to control the position from guard on top but Hallow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hallow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fightmaster. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fightmaster forces his way into half guard. Fightmaster not landing any meaningful shots this time. Fightmaster lands with a punch from half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Hallow avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Fightmaster. Fightmaster thows a huge punch but Hallow dodges it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Fightmaster throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fightmaster missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Fightmaster throwing shots but Hallow is blocking nicely. Fightmaster thows a huge punch but Hallow dodges it nicely.
Fightmaster working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Fightmaster is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hallow sees it coming and defends easily. Fightmaster thows a huge punch but Hallow dodges it nicely.
Fightmaster is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fightmaster tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hallow knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hallow can do anything to dispel that myth. Fightmaster content to control rather than advance. Fightmaster thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hallow's head. Fightmaster is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hallow doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fightmaster. Fightmaster working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hallow blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fightmaster. Fightmaster sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hallow defending well though. Hallow keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Hallow is looking for a sweep. Fightmaster is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Fightmaster missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Hallow wants to get back to his feet. Hallow wants to improve his position but Fightmaster is controlling well.

Fightmaster wants to take a breather but Hallow is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fightmaster is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hallow is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Fightmaster is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hallow is just riding it out for now. Fightmaster eventually gives up the hold. Fightmaster prevents Hallow from standing back up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fightmaster maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Hallow could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Fightmaster has cracked it and Hallow is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Fightmaster!
