Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Quid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Sol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quid kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Wicker Man. Viktor Sol has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Viktor Sol!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quid throws a right and a left that both miss.
Quid throws a body punch but Sol moves out of range.
Quid misses with a body kick.
Sol shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Quid as he avoids it easily.

Quid closes the distance and clinches.
Quid scores with a hook to the body.
A right hand to the body from Quid.
Quid lands a nice shot to the body.
Quid throws a punch but it's blocked by Sol.
Sol tries for a takedown but Quid manages to get underhooks.
Quid fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Quid.
Quid tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Quid scores with a shoulder strike.
Sol takes a shot to the head.
Quid lands with a short shot to the head.
Sol's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Sol tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Quid smiles and moves away.
Johnny Quid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Viktor Sol.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Quid - that will leave a mark!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Quid throws a half hearted mid kick.
Quid misses with an attempted mid kick.
Sol takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Quid misses with the body kick
and Sol makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Quid really felt that one!
Sol shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Quid defends it nicely.
Quid throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Sol drives through with a takedown into Quid's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Sol in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Sol is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Sol connects with a couple of short punches.
Quid tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Sol stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Quid has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Sol manages to get his head free but now Quid has transitioned to an armbar! Sol grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Quid! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
