Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Mot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Bronze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mot's entrance music is Be Aggresive by Faith No More. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Tom Mot!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Mr Bronze!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mot throws a nice outside leg kick.
Bronze throws a head kick but Mot moves out of range.
Bronze keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bronze works the jab nicely.
Bronze moves out of range of the strikes.
Tom Mot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bronze lunges at Mot with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Mot's hand.
Mot fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bronze manages to avoid it.
Mot connects with a nice looking jab.
A nice inside leg kick there by Mot. That's going to slow Bronze down.
Mot throws an off balance right hand
and Bronze connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mot slips a straight right by Bronze.
Bronze is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mot connects with a looping right hand.
Mot with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bronze to score with a decent uppercut.


Mot is rocked!

Mot moves into range and clinches up with Bronze.
Oh Mot is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mot blocking some punches.
Mot seems to have got his legs back now.
Bronze wants to stall.
Mot misses with a punch on the inside.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bronze throws a punch but it's blocked by Mot.
Mot pushes Bronze back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Mot scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Nice body punch from Bronze.
Mot swings wildly with an uppercut but Bronze uses good head movement to avoid it.

Bronze pulls Mot into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Bronze lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mot!
Mot regains half guard.
Bronze is looking to advance position but Mot won't allow it.
Bronze sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mot defending well though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bronze is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mot defends it well.
Bronze throwing shots but Mot is blocking nicely.
Mot wants to control but Bronze is keeping busy.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mot is doing well to control the position and prevent Bronze from advancing to side control.
Bronze passes to side control.
Bronze throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Mot works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Bronze seems to be looking for submissions.

Bronze looks to land a strike but Mot avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Bronze throwing strikes but missing.
Mot pulls Bronze in close to prevent any damage.
Bronze looking to pass the guard.
Bronze throws a big elbow that misses.
Bronze trying to control but Mot is working from the bottom.
Bronze stands and throws Mot's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Mot defending against the ground and pound.
Mot regains half guard.
Mot blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bronze.
Mot keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Bronze looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mot with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mot is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Mot gets back to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bronze throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mot is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mr Bronze dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Mot misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mot getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Mot throws a predictable looking body shot
and Bronze counters with a one-two to the body.
Mot takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bronze fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Bronze takes a kick to the side of the head.


Bronze is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mot misses with a straight right.
Bronze is still on wobbly legs! Can Mot finish him?
Mot throws a right and a left that Bronze avoids nicely.
Bronze seems to have recovered his senses.
Mot walks into a straight right hand from Bronze.
Mot gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Mot moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Bronze tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mot paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bronze thows a leg kick but Mot checks it
and Mot makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Mot clinches up with Bronze and pushes him back against the cage.
Mot swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Bronze lands with a light punch inside.
Bronze swings wildly with an uppercut but Mot uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mot working aggressively here.
A shot in the inside from Bronze.
Bronze lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Bronze is trying to pull guard but Mot has him pressed against the cage.

Bronze breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bronze throws a quick inside leg kick.
Mot scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Bronze looks for the body kick but Mot saw that one coming.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mot lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bronze at a distance.
Mot moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Mot lands a right hook to the body.

Mot gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bronze to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Bronze trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mot's guard.
Mot looking for a sweep. Not yet Mot, not yet.
Mot is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bronze is pressing down on Mot's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Mot distracts Bronze with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Bronze keeping moving, preventing Mot from controlling successfully.

Bronze controls Mot momentarily but Mot frees himself.
Mot might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bronze is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mot is aware though and is defending well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Bronze is looking to stand up but Mot isn't so interested in that idea.

Mot avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mot throws a big right hand that misses.
Mot throws a big elbow that misses.
Mot trying to control but Bronze is working from the bottom.
Mr Bronze has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bronze is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mot looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Mot makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Mot trying to control but Bronze is working from the bottom.
Mot has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Bronze is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bronze lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mot has hold of Bronze's hands but Bronze slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bronze trying to mount his opponent but Mot defends it.
Mot gets full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Mr Bronze will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Mot on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mot connects with a leg kick. Bronze looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Mot lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Bronze keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mot.
Bronze misses with an attempted mid kick.

Bronze has closed the distance and engaged Mot in a clinch.
Bronze throws a head punch that misses.

Bronze pulls guard successfully.
Bronze has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mot showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Mot keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bronze's head.
Mot is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Mot wants to stand but Bronze is controlling his posture from full guard.

Bronze escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mot gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Mot working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mot's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Bronze is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mot is aware though and is defending well.

Bronze working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mot doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mot manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Mot postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Mot tries to free his leg and advance position but Bronze is retaining full guard.
Bronze being controlled here, momentarily.
Mot is looking to work some ground and pound but Bronze has wrist control.
Mot stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bronze swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mot prevents Bronze from getting back to his feet.

Bronze keeping moving, preventing Mot from controlling successfully.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tom Mot.
Mot takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Mot thows a body shot but no joy.
Mot dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bronze walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mot checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Mot connects with a leg kick. Bronze looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Bronze moves into the clinch.
Mot swings wildly with an uppercut but Bronze uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bronze working aggressively here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mot lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Bronze or not.
Mot misses with the head strike.

Bronze escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bronze misses with a two punch combination.
Bronze takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Mot ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bronze moves away.
Mot cracks Bronze with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Mot throws a jab when Bronze was well out of range.
Mot throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Bronze crashing down! Bronze tries to stagger back to his feet but Mot just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Bronze asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tom Mot!
Tom Mot retains his lightweight title!
In his post fight interview, Tom Mot gave a big smile as he said 'Yeah that feels better....'.
