Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sluggo Brott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brott's entrance music is So What. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brott, as that shot connected.
Jones connects with a leg kick. Brott looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Brott shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense.
Brott has his takedown stuffed
and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jones swings for the body but Brott moves out of range.
Brott uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.

Brott prevents Jones from breaking the clinch.
Jones tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Brott blocks a body shot from Jones.
Jones misses with a punch on the inside.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Jones is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Jones tries a low kick but Brott avoids it.
Adam Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brott gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Jones looks to land a left hand but Brott moved out of range nicely.
Jones stalks Brott and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Brott's face. Brott staggers backwards, shaken.

Brott lands with an uppercut that bounces Jones off the cage and back into range.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jones looks for the body kick but Brott saw that one coming.

Jones pulls Brott in close to his closed guard and prevents Brott from doing any damage or advancing position.
Brott is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brott accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Brott throws an elbow that misses. Jones uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brott's guard. Nice move by Jones!

The ref stands the fighters back up because Sluggo Brott just wasn't active enough.

Brott rushes Jones and presses him up against the cage.
Brott lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Jones tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Jones turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jones manages to end up in side control.

Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brott keeps working.

Brott takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Brott is not content to let Jones control the position.

Jones decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Brott missing with a left hand there. Jones was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Brott tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brott somewhat.
Brott misses with a head kick.
Brott tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Brott's jab looks to have found its range, popping Jones under the eye.
Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brott was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones.

Jones throws a leg kick but Brott sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Brott pulls out of a head kick attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sluggo Brott will probably get the nod.
That's time! Brott's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Jones gets through Brott's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Horrible takedown by Brott or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad.

Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
