Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Linic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimitrius Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez has chosen Lil'Wayne - John as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mario Linic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Dimitrius Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez throws a hook to the side of Linic's head but Linic sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sanchez takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Linic closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sanchez to the mat! Sanchez manages to get full guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Linic wants to control from the top but Sanchez keeps moving. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Linic accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Linic pushes down on Sanchez's leg and manages to get into half guard. Sanchez trying to control but Linic postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Linic is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Sanchez is trying to maintain the position but Linic is very close to passing his half guard. Sanchez is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Linic is staying active. Sanchez avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Linic. Linic seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sanchez does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Linic missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Linic thows a huge punch but Sanchez dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Linic is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Linic passes the guard and advances to mount! Linic scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Linic avoids the attempt from Sanchez to control. Linic scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Sanchez?
Linic connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Linic cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Linic fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Sanchez tries to reverse the position but Linic maintains control. Linic pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Linic working for a submission but Sanchez is keeping him at bay.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez can't escape the position.
Linic connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Linic looking to control but Sanchez is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sanchez tries to reverse the position but Linic maintains control. A nice elbow there by Linic.
Sanchez is rocked! Linic postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Sanchez is out cold - huge knockout for Linic!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mario Linic! Mario Linic took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
