Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mojo Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Yakubiskaya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nixon comes to the cage accompanied by Straight Outta Compton. Kenji Yakubiskaya has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nixon connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Yakubiskaya is looking to clinch.

Yakubiskaya forces Nixon back against the cage and clinches.
Nixon is working for takedown but Yakubiskaya is calmly controlling the position for now.

Yakubiskaya pulls guard successfully.

Nixon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Nixon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Yakubiskaya wants to stand up but Nixon is controlling him.
Nixon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Yakubiskaya's guard.
Nixon uses his free foot to push down on Yakubiskaya's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Yakubiskaya.
Nixon is trying to take his opponent's back.

Nixon looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Nixon is working for a guillotine from mount but Yakubiskaya frees his head quite easily.
Yakubiskaya is looking to get to half guard.
Yakubiskaya wants to control but Nixon is having none of it.
Nixon wants to take Yakubiskaya's back here but Yakubiskaya is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Nixon working for a guillotine from mount but Yakubiskaya is in no mood to give up.
Yakubiskaya is controlling an arm, preventing Nixon from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
