Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kawika Dudoit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Fatboy Slim - Right Here Right Now kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Dave Lee is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dudoit tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lee swivels and escapes.

Lee moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kawika Dudoit. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Lee slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Lee slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Lee is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dudoit has escaped the position, nice work there.
Lee passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Dudoit!

Lee is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Dudoit can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Lee lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Dudoit looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Lee! Submission of the night perhaps?

After the fight, Dave Lee was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
