Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daigon Kins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miklo Velka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kins comes to the cage accompanied by N.O.S. Velka is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Cypress Hill - Insane In The Membrane. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daigon Kins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Miklo Velka! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Velka explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Velka tries a head kick but it misses.
Kins jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kins is looking to clinch. Kins wants to clinch up but Velka keeps it at a distance. Velka doesn't manage to clinch there - Kins circles away.
Velka clobbers Kins with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Velka blocks a head kick by Kins.
Kins closes this distance looking for a takedown but Velka circles away. Velka circles away from the clinch attempt.
Velka lands a nice shot that snaps Kins's head back.
Kins takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Velka connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Kins tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kins looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A jab from Velka misses. Velka fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kins tries to score a power double leg takedown but Velka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kins somewhat. Velka misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kins swats away the attempt to clinch by Velka. A bone on bone clash there as Kins blocks the leg kick.
Daigon Kins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Velka lands a jab to Kins's midsection. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Velka stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Velka moves into the clinch successfully.
Velka on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kins misses with a hook from the clinch. Kins can't break the clinch.
Velka prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daigon Kins. That's going to take a lot out of him. Velka lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Daigon Kins has been cut. Velka's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Velka throws an elbow that misses.
Kins blocks an elbow strike. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Velka. Kins creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Kins is working Velka over against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Velka lands a nice elbow. Kins looking for a takedown.

Velka is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Kins is keeping busy. Velka throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Kins tries to circle away but Velka has him pinned against the cage. Kins wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Velka lands an elbow that stopped Kins in his tracks for a moment.
Kins is rocked! Kins is trying to force a seperation but Velka has the dominant position. Velka throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kins blocks it with crossed arms. Velka is trying to maintain a safe position but Kins gets an underhook and turns Velka into the cage. Kins is trying to trip Velka. He has hold of a leg but Velka is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kins persists though and gets the takedown into guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Velka wants to stand but Kins is controlling the position. Kins forces his way into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kins controlling the action here. Kins is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kins is thwarting Velka's attempts to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kins takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Kins working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kins thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Well, if Kins is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Kins thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Velka has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kins is working away from the top position though. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Velka is staying active underneath Kins, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Velka moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Miklo Velka will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Daigon Kins's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Velka. Kins shrugs it off though. Kins tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Velka paws at him with a jab and circles away. Velka lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Kins shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Velka defends it nicely. Kins tries to clinch but Velka is having none of it. Velka scores with the left hand. Kins knows he should have avoided that one. Kins slips a jab and a cross from Velka.
Kins swings for the body but Velka moves out of range.
Velka dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kins. That did some damage! Velka takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Velka is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kins. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Velka tries a head kick but it misses.
Kins thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Velka if he has to take too many more of those.
Kins moves into the clinch. Velka tries to stall but Kins uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Velka pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kins with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Kins has Velka pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Velka manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Velka comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Velka scores with a knee to the head.
Kins lands with a short shot to the head. Kins scores with a shoulder strike. Kins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kins keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Velka. Kins avoids the head kick by Velka.

Kins trying to control the position from guard on top but Velka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kins missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kins looking to pass the guard. Kins postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kins throwing strikes from guard but Velka blocks nicely. Kins wants to control from the top but Velka keeps moving. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Velka is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kins is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Velka keeping moving, preventing Kins from controlling successfully. Velka keeping full guard, as Kins tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kins wants to control from the top but Velka keeps moving. Velka looking for a sweep. Not yet Velka, not yet. Kins postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Velka preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kins throwing strikes but missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kins working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Velka has his hands on Kins's head, controlling the position. Kins wants to control from the top but Velka keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Velka throws a lazy right hand but Kins sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kins tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kins shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kins was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kins raining down shots from the mount! Velka is working to get back to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kins unloads with some shots from mount but Velka bucks and avoids them well.
Velka avoids a strike by Kins and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Kins's guard! Fantastic escape!

Daigon Kins dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Daigon Kins's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Kins fails in his attempt to clinch. Nice uppercut lands for Velka. That snapped Kins's head back.
Velka swats away the attempt to clinch by Kins. Kins keeps the fight on the outside. Kins fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Velka, pushing him back against the cage. Kins avoiding damage as Velka throws knees to the body.
Velka putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Kins in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Velka blocks an elbow strike. Kins breaks the clinch.
Kins wants to clinch. Daigon Kins is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Velka swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kins misses with a double jab.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kins. Kins tries to clinch and Velka counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Velka feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kins's calf. Nice sprawl there from Velka as Kins shoots in. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Velka avoids a punch combination nicely.
Velka swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Velka rushes Kins and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Velka keeps control of Kins as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kins tries to break free but Velka pushes him back against the cage. Kins wants a takedown but no success here.

A short right from Kins. Kins is trying to drag Velka to the mat but Velka just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Velka stalling in the clinch but Kins improves position.

Velka lands a nice knee to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kins blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Velka tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Velka lands a nice knee to the body. Velka stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Velka lands an elbow just above Kins 's eye. Oh Kins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Velka lands a big knee to the head and Kins goes down! Velka pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!

In his post fight interview, Miklo Velka gave a big smile as he said 'Yo homes....I dedicate this win to Magic....La Onda essa!
