Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Captain Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evander Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Captain Morgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evander Ali! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morgan looks for a takedown but Ali sprawls well. Morgan moves into the clinch successfully.
Ali wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Morgan stalls. Ali tries to pull guard but Morgan won't allow it.
Morgan lands a takedown into guard.
Morgan stands up from guard. Let's bang! Some bone on bone action there as Morgan checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Morgan blocks a head kick by Ali.
Morgan scores with a takedown into Ali's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ali keeping full guard, as Morgan tries to pass. Morgan tries to stand but Ali is controlling from the bottom. Morgan prevents Ali from getting back to his feet. Morgan stands up from Ali's guard - Morgan perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ali cracks Morgan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Morgan tries to clinch there but Ali circles away.
Ali tests Morgan's chin there with a solid looking shot. Morgan clinches up against the cage. Ali gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Morgan.
Morgan is breathing heavily. Morgan keeps control of Ali as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Morgan prevents Ali from breaking the clinch. Ali tries to pull guard but Morgan holds him up against the cage and eventually Ali drops back down to his feet.
Ali is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Ali prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Captain Morgan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ali is working for takedown but Morgan is calmly controlling the position for now. Morgan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ali comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Morgan tries for a takedown but Ali sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ali throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Morgan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Morgan showed some decent athleticism there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgan is looking for a kimura here.
Morgan seems to be working for a kimura but Ali defends the submission attempt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Morgan is trying to work for a kimura but Ali is defending well.
Ali gets back to full guard.
Morgan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ali is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ali is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Morgan is controlling him. Ali looking to hit a scissor sweep but Morgan is one step ahead there. Ali has momentary wrist control but Morgan slips an elbow through the middle. Morgan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ali is keeping the position for now. Ali is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Morgan looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Morgan closes the distance and clinches up with Ali, looking for a takedown. Morgan pushes Ali against the cage but Ali circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Morgan on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Ali lands a hook that stumbles Morgan back into the cage. Ali follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Morgan to the canvas! Ali pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Morgan has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Evander Ali!
