Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Rich Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AnthonyH Moreno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Franklin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Nas- Ether. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Rich Franklin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, AnthonyH Moreno!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreno lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Rich Franklin has been cut.
Moreno swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Moreno moves into range and clinches up with Franklin.
Moreno is looking to break free of the clinch but Franklin has double underhooks.
Moreno breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Moreno looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A head kick by Moreno misses
and Franklin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like AnthonyH Moreno has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Franklin throws out a head kick that Moreno doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Moreno crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Moreno's eyes and has decided to let it go on!
Franklin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Franklin blocks a head kick by Moreno.
A head kick misses from Moreno.
Moreno tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Moreno connects with a good right hand that stumbles Franklin. Franklin circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Moreno tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Franklin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A punch combination from Franklin misses.
Franklin lands a jab to the nose.
That has opened up AnthonyH Moreno's cut even more.
Moreno avoids a punch combination nicely.
Franklin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moreno moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Franklin scores with a big combo that sends Moreno crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Moreno flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Franklin jumps onto the ropes and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rich Franklin!
After the fight, Rich Franklin was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
