Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Svacneger Funkyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takashi Oni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takashi Oni!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funkyama lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Oni shoots in for a takedown but Funkyama shows good takedown defense.
Oni closes this distance looking for a takedown but Funkyama circles away.
Oni takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Funkyama comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Oni shoots for a double leg takedown but Funkyama sprawls well. He's pushed Oni's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Svacneger Funkyama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takashi Oni.
Funkyama throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Oni takes a jab right on the kisser.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oni looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Funkyama is fending him off so far but Oni persists. Nope, Funkyama circles away and we're back to standing.
Oni shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Funkyama sprawls well. Funkyama wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Oni gets slowly back to his feet.
Funkyama slaps away a takedown attempt from Oni, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Oni looks gassed!
Funkyama scores with a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Funkyama jabs Oni right on the nose. Oni blinks but takes it well.
Oni shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Funkyama sprawls well. Funkyama wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Oni gets slowly back to his feet.
Oni is trying desperately to land a takedown but Funkyama is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Oni.
Oni shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Funkyama defends it nicely.
Funkyama lands a big uppercut and Oni crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Oni looks OK. Funkyama waves Oni back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oni wants to stay close but Funkyama steps back to make room for something. Oni seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Funkyama and Oni drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Svacneger Funkyama!
