Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between hei Jari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivera has chosen Your Hand in Mine as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, hei Jari! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlos Rivera! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid body kick from Rivera. Rivera uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jari. Jari lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Jari checks a leg kick nicely. Jari rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rivera makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Rivera rushes Jari and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Jari fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jari tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rivera smiles and moves away.
Jari feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Riveras jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! hei Jari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rivera lands with a thumping leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jari misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rivera.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rivera bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Jari misses with a series of wild punches.
hei Jari is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jari lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Rivera swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rivera pushes Jari up against the cage in a clinch. Jari is looking to control Rivera's arms but Rivera gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jari has his back to the cage. Rivera lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Jari tries to break free but Rivera pushes him back against the cage. A battle for position here, against the cage. Rivera lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jari backwards. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jari. Jari tries to stall but Rivera uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Rivera lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Jari is trying to force a seperation but Rivera has the dominant position. Jari really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Rivera has Jari pressed against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A short right from Rivera on the inside. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Jari can't break the clinch.
Rivera lands a hook that snaps the head of Jari backwards. A frustrated look appears on Jari's face as he tries to break the clinch. Rivera lands with a right to the head. Rivera keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jari's efforts to push away. Stalling in the clinch from Rivera.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jari takes a shot to the head. Rivera dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Rivera digs a right hand underneath Jari's ribcage. Jari let out a lung full of air as it connected. Jari is looking to control Rivera's arms but Rivera gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jari has his back to the cage. Rivera content to slow the pace in the clinch.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Carlos Rivera. Jari rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rivera moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jari misses with an uppercut. Rivera saw that one coming. Rivera comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Jari is breathing heavily. Rivera takes the fight into the clinch. Jari trying to stall but Rivera improves his position.
Jari wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rivera has him pressed against the cage. The referee is keeping an eye on Rivera - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jari misses with a knee strike.
Jari wants to break free but Rivera has control.

Rivera has Jari pressed against the cage, preventing Jari from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Rivera dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. A body shot lands from Rivera.

Carlos Rivera dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Rivera ducks under a wild hook from Jari. Jari tries to bum rush Rivera with a series of wild strikes but Rivera uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rivera looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. A swing and a miss from Jari. Rivera missing with a left hand there. Jari was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Jari looking to land some kicks to the body here.
A big right from Jari misses. Jari throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Decent striking displayed by Jari there. Jari throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rivera counters with a stiff right hand. Jari throws a poor cross that misses
and Rivera makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Jari throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rivera sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rivera throws a body kick that misses. Jari keeps the fight on the outside. Rivera cracks Jari with a good jab. Jari misses with a few strikes there.
Jari jabs Rivera to the body, keeping him at a distance. Rivera blocks a jab. Jari throws a sloppy head kick and Rivera counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jari rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rivera counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jari throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Jari tries to circle away but Rivera has him pinned against the cage.

Rivera lands with a nice body punch. Rivera works Jari's body with a nice hook. Rivera connects with the punch. Jari throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rivera. Rivera drops Jari with a beautiful combination! Jari stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rivera is looking for the KO! This has been an exciting period of action! Oh Jari is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jari slips a straight right by Rivera. Jari seems to have got his legs back now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jari lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rivera circles away quickly and effectively. Rivera lands with an overhand left. Jari looks to land a right hand but Rivera moved out of range. Jari misses with a looping left. Rivera misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rivera tests Jari's chin there with a solid looking shot. Rivera dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Carlos Rivera seems to be getting the better of the standup. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jari takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Rivera scores with a nice strike. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Rivera showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rivera in particular looking to stall. Rivera trying to control from half guard but Jari is working away.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Carlos Rivera wasn't active enough on the ground. Rivera scores with a shot to the body.

and Rivera counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Rivera seems to be working for a kimura but Jari defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rivera works his way into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rivera wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jari keeps working. Rivera is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rivera in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Jari is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
