The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bali Bukog dives in and scores a takedown into Earth's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Earth is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Earth uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Bali Bukog fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bali Bukog closes the distance and clinches up with Earth, looking for a takedown. Bali Bukog pushes Earth against the cage but Earth circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bali Bukog changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Earth tries to avoid it but Bali Bukog manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Earth to the ground. Earth escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bali Bukog closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Earth to the mat! Earth manages to get full guard.
Earth wriggles free and stands up.
Earth should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Earth shoots for a double leg takedown but Bali Bukog sprawls well. He's pushed Earth's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Earth enables Bali Bukog to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Earth manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bali Bukog is really struggling to control Earth but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Bali Bukog looking to sit in guard and control but Earth gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Earth stands and throws Bali Bukog's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Earth decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bali Bukog to his feet.

and Earth counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Earth wants to control but Bali Bukog is keeping him busy.

Earth decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
