Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sparka Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Artest (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sparka Man! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ron Artest! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Man. Artest ducks under a wild hook from Man. Man tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Artest was well out of range. Poor timing from Man. Man throws a jab when Artest was well out of range. Artest tries to clinch and Man counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Ron Artest has been cut. Artest closes the distance looking to clinch and Man counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Artest takes a shot right to the bread basket. Artest wants to clinch but Man slips to the side enabling Man to counter with a crisp jab. Man ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Artest closes the distance but Man moves to the side and Man connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man throws a leg kick but Artest checks it. Man scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Man cracks Artest with an open hand slap. Man jabs Artest to the body, keeping him at a distance. Man swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Artest tries to clinch up and Man makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Artest tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Man counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Man circles away from the clinch attempt and Man counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Man misses with a wild body shot. Man throws a chopping leg kick but Artest manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Artest tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Man counters with a lovely shot to the body. Man darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
That has opened up Ron Artest's cut even more.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man throws a one two combo.
Man connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Artest tries to clinch and Man counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Man misses with a straight left. Artest takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Artest closes the distance looking to clinch and Man counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Artest is rocked! Man cracks Artest on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Artest falls backwards against the cage. Man follows up with more strikes that drop Artest to his knees. Man keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Artest! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sparka Man! After the fight, Sparka Man was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
