Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and War Tank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). War Tank is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark Kerr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, War Tank!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tank shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tank fails with a takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Tank or perhaps it was just good defense by Kerr which made him look bad.
Mark Kerr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of War Tank.

Tank closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kerr dodges the ground and pound from Tank.
Kerr managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Tank.

Kerr throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Tank drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ground and pound from Tank seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kerr wants to get back to his feet.

Tank tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kerr's legs.
Kerr regains half guard, as Tank was trying to land strikes.

Kerr tries to roll over but Tank keeps him under control.
Kerr tries to kick Tank off but Tank keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kerr blocking the ground and pound attempt from Tank.
Tank throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Kerr wants to get back to full guard.
Kerr wants to control but Tank is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Tank thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Tank missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Tank throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Tank throwing shots but Kerr is blocking nicely.
Tank throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Kerr kicks Tank off and gets back to his feet.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Kerr.

and Tank counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kerr's guard now.

Tank postures up in Kerr's guard and throws a big left but Kerr blocks it.

Kerr utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Tank must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Tank stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kerr swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tank really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kerr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We're going to have a standup here because Mark Kerr wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Tank shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tank stopping the sweep attempt from Kerr.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tank accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kerr wants to stand up but Tank is controlling him.
Tank distracts Kerr with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tank missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Tank throwing strikes from guard but Kerr blocks nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

War Tank dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Tank shoots in but no luck this time.
Kerr shoots in for a double leg but Tank sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kerr has his takedown stuffed

and Tank counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tank.
Tank postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Kerr throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tank accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kerr is rocked!
Tank loads up on a big left hand. Kerr felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Tank looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Kerr can't hide his disappointment, as Tank celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). War Tank!
A relieved looking War Tank thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
