Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Austin has chosen Who's your Daddy by Mook N Fair as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Hunt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Austin! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Kavanagh and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Hunt misses. Hunt misses the jab. Hunt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hunt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Austin but Austin pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hunt thows a body shot but no joy. Mike Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hunt fails to land with a series of punches.
Hunt jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hunt throws a right and a left that Austin avoids nicely. Hunt throws a hook to the side of Austin's head but Austin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. No joy there for Hunt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Austin misses the shot to the body. Austin throws a combination. Hunt tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Mike Hunt has been cut. Hunt gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hunt trying to stall but Austin improves his position.

Hunt lands a damaging elbow. Hunt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Austin is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hunt is keeping busy. Austin wants a takedown.

Hunt lands an elbow that stopped Austin in his tracks for a moment. Hunt pressing his opponent against the cage. Austin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hunt is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. A short right from Hunt on the inside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Austin avoiding damage as Hunt throws knees to the body.
Hunt is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Hunt landing knees to the body.
Hunt lands with a right to the head. Austin takes an elbow to the forehead. Hunt can't find room to land a body shot as Austin controls the action.
Austin pulls guard effortlessly. Hunt pushes down on Austin's leg and manages to get into half guard. Austin slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Austin keeping full guard, as Hunt tries to pass. Hunt pushing down on Austin's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Hunt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Austin is just riding it out for now. Hunt eventually gives up the hold. Hunt is breathing heavily. Hunt is thwarting Austin's attempts to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunt is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Austin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Austin regains full guard. Nicely done. Hunt wants to pass the guard but Austin is keeping the position. Austin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hunt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hunt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Austin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hunt gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hunt drops back looking for a leg! Austin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Austin manages to kick Hunt off! Hunt jumps back into Austin's guard. Austin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hunt can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hunt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hunt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Austin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Austin dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mike Hunt's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Austin seems to have recovered his senses. Austin looks to land a combination but Hunt avoids it well. Hunt swinging wilding here.
Austin paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Austin lunges at Hunt with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hunt's hand. Austin throws a combination that misses and Hunt counters with a nice uppercut. James Austin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Austin is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Austin takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Hunt misses with a looping right. Austin throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hunt counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Austin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Mike Hunt is winning the standup battle so far. Hunt shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Austin pinned against the cage. Austin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Austin tries to move into range but Hunt moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hunt doesn't manage to clinch there - Austin circles away.

Austin swats away the attempt to clinch by Hunt. Austin looks to score with a jab to the body but Hunt is just out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunt tries to clinch up but Austin circles away and keeps his distance. Hunt walks into a jab. Hunt looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hunt throws a looping overhand right but Austin ducks down to avoid it. Austin scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Austin showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hunt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Austin, as that shot connected.
Austin listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Hunt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Austin moves away. Hunt misses with the combination.
Austin staying out of range there. Hunt shoots in for a double leg but Austin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Austin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hunt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunt shoots in looking for a takedown. Austin tries to sprawl out of it but Hunt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Austin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Hunt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hunt misses with a combination
and Austin counters with a series of strikes. Hunt will be more careful next time no doubt. Hunt has taken the fight to the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action! A quick uppercut on the inside from Hunt. Hunt lands an elbow just above Austin 's eye. Hunt throws a big uppercut that drops Austin! More strikes from Hunt and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Austin lies dazed against the cage as Hunt celebrates with his cornermen!
