The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Takaki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Takaki tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Flush shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Flush was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Takaki working to try and regain half guard.

Flush has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Flush sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Flush misses with a head shot. Takaki wants to hold on but Flush pushes him away. Flush working away from the top, dropping strikes. Flush landing punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flush throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Takaki because Flush loaded up on that one. Takaki is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Flush cracks Takaki with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Takaki is rocked!
It looks like Takehiko Takaki has been cut. Takaki tries to lock up and control but Flush gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Oh Takaki is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Flush controlling from the full mount. Flush looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Takaki covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Straight Flush! A less than humble Straight Flush misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
