Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Christian Destruction (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabe Graboid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Destruction comes to the cage accompanied by Sonic Syndicate - Denied. Graboid is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sandstorm. Christian Destruction has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Graboid or perhaps it was just good defense by Destruction which made him look bad.
Graboid drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Destruction prevents Graboid from moving into mount.
Graboid wants to lay and pray for a moment but Destruction keeps working.
Graboid tries to move into full mount but can't pass Destruction's legs.
Destruction pushes Graboid away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Graboid gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Graboid thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Destruction is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Graboid asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Graboid wants to take a breather but Destruction manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Graboid.
Graboid stops Destruction from standing up.

Destruction knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Graboid on the ground.
Graboid tries to free his leg and advance position but Destruction is retaining full guard.
Graboid should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Graboid thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Destruction wants to get back to his feet but Graboid is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Destruction stalks Graboid and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Graboid's face. Graboid staggers backwards, shaken.
Graboid takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Christian Destruction has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabe Graboid.

Destruction scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Destruction is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Graboid looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Destruction has picked Graboid up and slammed him! Graboid can't keep hold of the triangle and Destruction manages to pass to side control!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Destruction decides to stand back up. Destruction steps back and let's Graboid get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Christian Destruction will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Graboid is looking to chop away at Destruction's legs.

Graboid uses his free foot to push down on Destruction's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Destruction.
Graboid won't let Destruction get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Graboid is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Destruction can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Graboid moves to take his opponent's back.
Graboid biding his time, looking for the opening.
Graboid is cranking Destruction's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Destruction! He's tightened the choke and Destruction is tapping out!
