Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Morse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alberto Del Rio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for James Morse has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, James Morse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Alberto Del Rio! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morse clinches up against the cage. Morse displaying some good clinch control by pressing Del Rio up against the cage. Morse wants to break free but Del Rio has control.
Morse is trying to break the clinch but Del Rio is controlling him. Del Rio is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Morse gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Morse gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Del Rio.
Del Rio has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Morse is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. James Morse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alberto Del Rio.

Morse drops down looking for an ankle pick but Del Rio pulls his leg out and moves away.
Morse closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Morse lands in his opponent's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Morse wants to pass the guard but Del Rio is keeping the position. Del Rio is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. The ref stands the fighters back up because James Morse just wasn't active enough. Del Rio closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Morse's guard. Del Rio with a flurry of punches that miss. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Morse manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Morse is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Del Rio to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Del Rio shrugs it off. Morse is in the full mount, landing strikes. Morse working the ground and pound effectively.

Del Rio got a little sloppy there for a moment and Morse has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Del Rio has managed to get both his arms back between Morse's legs - danger averted. Morse escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Del Rio gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Morse might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Del Rio stays in close to Morse's body and controls the position. Let's hope that Del Rio has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Del Rio trying to control the position from guard on top but Morse is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. This has been an exciting period of action! Del Rio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Morse swivels though and keeps the full guard. Del Rio is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Del Rio working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Del Rio passes Morse's right leg, so he's now in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Morse dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Morse displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Del Rio. Morse throws a head kick that Del Rio semi-blocks.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Del Rio preventing the sweep. Morse is looking for a triangle but Del Rio pushes his legs off easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Del Rio landing shots from mount. Del Rio looking to control and managing it successfully. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to James Morse. Well Morse has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
