Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Boris Berezin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarni Kutsoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kutsoo has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jarni Kutsoo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boris Berezin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jarni Kutsoo! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Berezin throws a jab but it's blocked by Kutsoo. Berezin throws a series of punches but Kutsoo avoids them all with ease. Kutsoo tries to clinch but Berezin is having none of it. Berezin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Berezin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Berezin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kutsoo doesn't seem bothered though. Kutsoo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Berezin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kutsoo somewhat. Berezin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. The fighters circling - Berezin throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kutsoo has a takedown stuffed. Berezin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Boris Berezin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jarni Kutsoo. Berezin throws a head kick that misses. Berezin looks to land a combination but Kutsoo avoids it well. Berezin connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
That's one minute gone in the round. Berezin takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Kutsoo throws a sloppy head kick and Berezin moves out of range easily. Berezin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Berezin throws a series of punches but Kutsoo moves out of range. Berezin throws a nice looking combination but Kutsoo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Berezin throws the left hand but Kutsoo avoids the punch easily. Kutsoo ducks under a wild hook from Berezin. Berezin pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Berezin misses with a head kick.
Berezin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Berezin wants it to stay on the feet. Kutsoo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Berezin as he jumps to the side. Kutsoo takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kutsoo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Berezin. Boris Berezin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Berezin leaves Kutsoo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Berezin's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Berezin duly obliges.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Berezin lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kutsoo. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Berezin throws a combination that misses and Kutsoo counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Kutsoo is looking for a kimura here.
Kutsoo scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Kutsoo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Berezin is looking to escape. Kutsoo tries to pass to full mount but Berezin defends it. Kutsoo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Berezin wants to get back to his feet.
Kutsoo lands strikes from half guard. Kutsoo controlling the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Berezin is not content to let Kutsoo control the position. Kutsoo scoring with strikes to the body and head. Kutsoo is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Berezin is trying to stand back up but Kutsoo is controlling him
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kutsoo is keen to just control but Berezin is a slippery customer.
Jarni Kutsoo has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Berezin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kutsoo gets a takedown into half guard. Kutsoo sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Berezin defending well though. Kutsoo seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Berezin is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
