Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Cardoso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JoHan Bluntenpets (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, JoHan Bluntenpets! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bluntenpets changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cardoso looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Cardoso is looking to regain half guard here but Bluntenpets keeps moving and retains side control. Cardoso manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Cardoso seems to be working for a kimura but Bluntenpets defends the submission attempt. Bluntenpets regains full guard. Nicely done. Cardoso is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bluntenpets working a defensive guard here.
Bluntenpets is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Cardoso wants to control from the top but Bluntenpets keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bluntenpets is trying to control the position but Cardoso postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bluntenpets shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bluntenpets was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bluntenpets controlling the position easily from mount. Cardoso is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bluntenpets cracks Cardoso with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Bluntenpets lands with some strikes. Cardoso gives up his back whilst trying to strike.
Bluntenpets gets his hands free as Cardoso looks to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bluntenpets has good solid back control here. Cardoso defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Bluntenpets's arms. Bluntenpets looks gassed! Bluntenpets keeps control of the position as Cardoso tries to break free.
Bluntenpets tries to get the hooks in deep but Cardoso pushed the leg off. Bluntenpets scores with punches and elbows. Cardoso trying to control but not successfully. A lull in the action here.
Bluntenpets is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Cardoso is defending well though. Bluntenpets let's go of the attempt for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cardoso rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bluntenpets keeps the fight on the outside. Bluntenpets blocks a head kick by Cardoso.
Cardoso lands a head shot. Cardoso has his takedown stuffed and Bluntenpets counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Bluntenpets works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Cardoso manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bluntenpets manages to regain half guard. Good work. Bluntenpets flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bluntenpets is controlling Cardoso's position as best he can from this difficult position. Bluntenpets tries to roll over but Cardoso keeps him under control. Bluntenpets regains full guard. Nicely done. Bluntenpets had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Cardoso is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bluntenpets Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Cardoso's back instead. Cardoso rolls, trying to escape but Bluntenpets keeps control of the position.
Bluntenpets has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Cardoso has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Bluntenpets gets a takedown into half guard. Bluntenpets controlling the pace. Cardoso wants to control but Bluntenpets is keeping busy.
Bluntenpets is nestled in close to Cardoso, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Bluntenpets wants to control but Cardoso is keeping him busy. Bluntenpets works his foot free and advances to mount. Bluntenpets prevents Cardoso from getting the reversal. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bluntenpets controlling from the full mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cardoso manages to regain half guard. Good work. Cardoso moves into full guard.
Bluntenpets preventing the sweep. Bluntenpets stands and steps away. Cardoso gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Cardoso takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Cardoso tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A head kick misses from Cardoso. Bluntenpets tries to clinch but Cardoso is having none of it. Cardoso sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Bluntenpets to the ground! Cardoso dives into full mount looking to finish!
Bluntenpets is rocked!
It looks like JoHan Bluntenpets has been cut. Cardoso is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Bluntenpets is forced to tap! Great finish!
