Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerson Tanacara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Furion The Project (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Tanacara does no damage.
The Project gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Tanacara lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
It looks like Furion The Project has been cut.
The Project tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tanacara swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Tanacara checks a leg kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tanacara, as that shot connected.
The Project slips a jab and a cross from Tanacara.
The Project bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The Project wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tanacara, who protects the arm well.
Tanacara is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tanacara gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Tanacara is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The Project is desperately trying to improve his position but Tanacara has a good base and remains in mount.
Tanacara goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now The Project is on top in guard.
Tanacara wants to stand but The Project is controlling the position.

Tanacara has his foot on The Project's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. The Project works his way back into a safe position though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The Project wants to control from the top but Tanacara keeps moving.
