Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Merme Mafra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Merme Mafra has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Richard White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Merme Mafra! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mafra tries to keep at a distance but White has taken the fight into the clinch. Mafra looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! White turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. White controls the position. White knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mafra on the ground. Mafra is trying to improve his position. White could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. White decides to stand back up. White steps back and let's Mafra get back to his feet. White feints and as Mafra raises his hands in defense, White changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. White decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mafra, up you get! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! White throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mafra was covering up waiting for the punch and White finishes the takedown easily into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. White has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mafra is proving hard to escape from. White wants to pass the guard but Mafra is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. White sitting in guard here, content to control. White's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Mafra is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and White defends well. White keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mafra's head. White passes easily into side control. Nice work. White decides to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mafra to the ground. White is now in Mafra's guard. White gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. White closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Mafra actively working from the bottom here. Mafra looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Mafra is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but White pulls his head out easily. White wants to stand but Mafra has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Still in half guard, White seems content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mafra is looking to control White's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mafra avoid being mounted? Mafra is defending against the submission attempts here by White.
White keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Mafra looking for submissions off his back. Mafra tries to roll over but White keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White moves nicely into side control. White taking a breather here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. White cracks Mafra with a big right hand but Mafra just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

White forces Mafra back against the cage and clinches. White jumps into guard, dragging Mafra to the mat.
Mafra drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but White manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mafra has White in his guard. White stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mafra swivels though and keeps the full guard. White gets to his feet - Mafra follows without any prompting. White shoots in for a takedown and gets it. White frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Richard White overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Mafra is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. White is standing up, even though he is in mount. White closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. White is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mafra can do to turn this around? Mafra wants to control but White postures up. White decides to stand back up. White shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mafra is trying to defend but White finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. White tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mafra knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mafra is looking for a sweep. White is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! White sitting and controlling from the half guard. Mafra on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. White passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Mafra! White jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mafra manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mafra keeps working. White is trying to get an arm triangle but Mafra is defending well. Both fighters take a look at the clock. White working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. White is trying to get an arm triangle but Mafra is defending well. Mafra can't do much from the bottom here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. White tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. You can see the frustration on Mafra's face as White controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Richard White dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
White changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mafra looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. White is chipping away with strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. White thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. White trying to control the action but Mafra is working from the bottom. White tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no White has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Mafra is trying to improve his position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. White tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. White takes a little break here. Mafra wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. White has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. White shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. White showed some decent athleticism there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. White passes to side control. White wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mafra, who protects the arm well. White goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Mafra has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for White but great work by Mafra.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White is looking to regain half guard here but Mafra keeps moving and retains side control. Mafra tries for a kimura but White is defending well. Richard White is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Mafra swings around for an armbar but White sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mafra's guard. Mafra looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mafra being controlled here, momentarily. White stands and steps away. Mafra gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mafra's half guard. Mafra is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but White pulls his head out easily. Well, if White is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
White seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mafra for as long as he can get away with. Merme Mafra has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mafra looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
And that's the end of the fight! Richard White showed his dominance in that final round. Well White has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
