Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romero takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A decent looking cross lands there for McBrain.
Romero fails to land the takedown.
McBrain scores with a nice right hand.
Romero throws a body punch but McBrain moves out of range.
Nice defenses there by Romero.
McBrain lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Romero fails with the takedown.
McBrain tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Romero paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Romero shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bruce McBrain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cristian Romero.
McBrain lands with a nice body punch.
Romero looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
McBrain lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
McBrain scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
McBrain's jab looks to have found its range, popping Romero under the eye.
Romero fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Romero is defended easily by McBrain.
Romero looks gassed!
McBrain sends Romero crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! McBrain is motioning to the referee to let Romero up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Romero is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McBrain connects with a body shot.
Romero closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into McBrain's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Romero wants to pass the guard but McBrain is keeping the position.
Romero stopping the sweep attempt from McBrain.
McBrain is adopting a defensive guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Bruce McBrain wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
McBrain throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Romero crashing down! Romero tries to stagger back to his feet but McBrain just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Romero asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce McBrain!
During a confident post fight interview, Bruce McBrain thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
