Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronnie Breivik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santiago kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kanye West - Stronger. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bobby Santiago! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ronnie Breivik! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santiago looks to throw the jab but Breivik is out of range. Santiago throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Santiago misses with a wild body shot. Santiago fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Breivik manages to avoid it. Santiago swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Breivik darts in trying to clinch and Santiago makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Breivik moves to clinch but Santiago breaks away and Santiago counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Breivik throws a jab when Santiago was well out of range. Breivik throws a series of punches but Santiago moves out of range. Breivik swings widly with a right hand
and Santiago counters with a lovely shot to the body. Breivik tries to clinch letting Santiago counter with a right hand. Breivik takes one to the chin there. Santiago lands a nice looking body shot.
Breivik drops Santiago with a left and a right! Oh, Santiago is hurt - Breivik dives into side control looking to finish!
It looks like Bobby Santiago has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Santiago manages to get back to half guard. Santiago manages to get to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santiago is adopting a defensive guard. Santiago doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Santiago is on top in guard.
Santiago stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Breivik swivels though and keeps the full guard. Breivik really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santiago. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Breivik has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Santiago is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Breivik. Santiago goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Breivik has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Santiago but great work by Breivik.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Breivik swings around for an armbar but Santiago sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Breivik's guard. Santiago sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Breivik's guard. Santiago has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Santiago tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Santiago working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santiago is stalling here but it's allowed Breivik to get half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Santiago is working for a kimura but Breivik is defending it quite comfortably.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Santiago lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Santiago passes the guard and advances to mount! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Santiago raining down shots from the mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Santiago dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bobby Santiago's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Breivik thows a body shot but no joy.
It looks like Ronnie Breivik has been cut. Breivik rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Santiago moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Santiago throws a hook but Breivik blocks it. Santiago scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Breivik on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Santiago trying to control the action but Breivik is working from the bottom. Santiago is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Santiago working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Breivik looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Santiago! Submission of the night perhaps?
