Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Hubert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and J Dubb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Hubert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, J Dubb!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dubb tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Hubert clinches with his opponent.
Hubert is working for takedown but Dubb is calmly controlling the position for now.
Dubb tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Hubert is trying to trip Dubb. He has hold of a leg but Dubb is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hubert persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Dubb lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hubert!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hubert wants to get back to full guard but Dubb has passed into side control.

Hubert drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hubert has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hubert in particular looking to stall.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hubert connects with a nice short shot to Dubb's temple.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hubert is trying to work for a kimura but Dubb is defending well.

John Hubert overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee stands the fighters back up. John Hubert just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
No joy there for Dubb, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Dubb takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
J Dubb has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Hubert has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
